During my stay, I appreciated how close we were to both Lions Park and the North Carolina Museum of History, making it easy to enjoy some leisurely walks and explore beautiful landmarks. the staff were warm and welcoming, creating a homely atmosphere that made our short trip all the more enjoyable.

Checked in for one night with my family and found the atmosphere welcoming. The room felt spacious, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Loved the convenience of nearby dining options for late-night snacks! Pro tip, Check out the local diners for a hearty breakfast the next morning!

However, I encountered a few annoyances during my stay. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, taking ages to kick in properly after check-in. The breakfast offering was extremely basic, lacking variety, which wasn't what I anticipated. Lastly, the heater in the room issued loud knocking sounds in the middle of the night, disrupting what sleep I could get.

Not recommend it for anyone who values cleanliness

Had a decent bed, but just try to ignore the roaches crawling around. Clearly, these rooms haven’t been cleaned properly in ages, it was disgusting. And then there was that moment when the fire alarm went off… right in the middle of something you know what I mean.

It wasn’t exactly affordable, but for that experience, you would think I paid to be tortured.

I had a decent experience overall. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the coffee was great. However, the hotel decor is quite dated, and I encountered cleanliness issues, including some maintenance problems in the bathroom. In the future, better upkeep and updates would truly enhance the experience.
